Cookie Policy

Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones Matizly uses, and how you can manage or refuse them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Among other things, they can remember your preferences or measure site usage in aggregate.
2. Cookie consent manager
When you enter Matizly, a cookie banner lets you accept, refuse, or customize which cookie categories you allow before they are activated. No non-essential cookie is installed until you give consent.
3. Cookies we use
The cookie categories present on the site are listed below:
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
| Category | Purpose | Provider | Approx. duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Remember your cookie consent choice (accepted/rejected and which categories). | Matizly (cc_cookie) | 12 months |
| Necessary | Remember the language of the site. | Matizly (matiz-locale) | 12 months |
| Functional (stored on your device) | Keep your saved palettes and the state of some tools (e.g. the last image in the image color picker). Nothing is sent to our servers. | Matizly (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) | Until you delete them or close the tab |
| Analytics | Measure visits, page views, and site usage in aggregate (Google Analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager). | Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager | Up to 14 months (_ga*) |
4. Cookies we do NOT use
We do not use advertising cookies, social-network tracking cookies, or cookies that personally identify you. The site has no forms or user registration system.
5. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change your choice at any time by opening the cookie management panel again (usually available from a “Cookie settings” button or link in the site footer). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although doing so generally (not only for this site) may affect other websites that rely on them.
6. Legal basis
The use of non-essential (analytics) cookies is based on your prior consent, in line with Spain’s Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the tools or cookies used on the site change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this document.
